2008 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series
EASTERN DISTRICT
Eastern District Division One Association (EDDOA)will host the 2008 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series State Cup Memorial Day weekend, May 24th through May 26th. All games will be played at Lindsay Lyons Park located at 2310 Atascocita Road in Humble.
First and second place teams from Eastern and Western District plus one El Paso team, if registered, will participate in the round robin tournament. El Paso will be participating in the following age groups: BU12, BU14, BU15, BU16, BU17 and GU12. Age groups including an El Paso team will require some teams to play two games a day; however, all other age groups will play one game per day.

Reminder to Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers, Managers: Coaches must be in compliance with STYSA Rule 3.1.16 which requires all coaches to obtain a coaching license within one year of beginning to coach. Every effort has been made to update adult records to include their license level. In some instances, we are prevented from completing the update because of information missing from your record - phone number, email address, drivers' license, and/or license expiration date. Please check your record and, if this information is missing, either update the record or provide the information to your registrar or the State Office. If you have a coaching license but it is not recorded in your record or shown on the team roster, please fax a copy of your license or certificate to the State Office at (512) 272-5167 as soon as possible. If you do not have a copy of your license, please provide as much information as possible about the course you took - license level, approximate date, location, instructor name - to help us locate the attendance report. Sideline Passes will only be issued to adults who are in compliance with the licensing and Kidsafe requirements.
State Champions in the U14 through U19 age groups will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Southern Regionals in Raleigh and Wilson, North Carolina the week of June 19th through June 25th. An information packet will be provided to advancing teams at the conclusion of the State Cup.
